Our place is situated in a quiet neighborhood where properties range from 3 to 20 acres.  We are located near the south gate to Yosemite.  An hour from Sequioa and Kings Canyon National Parks. Close to the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad, Bass Lake and historic Mariposa.  Lucky to have a large variety of restaurants within 15 minutes of our property and several grocery stores, large and small, in nearby Oakhurst, just 12 minutes from our place. 


All of our private suites include 2 rooms, plus a bathroom.  One room of the suite has a sitting area with a full-size futon couch; it has a very comfortable memory foam and inner spring mattress and is suited for up to 2 adults. The room also includes a kitchenette with refrigerator, k-cup coffee machine, microwave, toaster and hotplate, and a dining table with seating for 4.  Enjoy our complimentary coffee, tea, water, and popcorn...seasonal fruit from our orchard may be available depending on the time of year that you visit.  The spacious bedroom invites you with a Queen-size bed covered in fluffy pillows, and ample space for your clothes, including a dresser and closet shelf.  each room has a television.  Also, to keep you comfortable, each room has its own wall mounted heating and air conditioning unit.  The shared patio is appointed with a dining table and sitting areas perfect for enjoying a bottle of wine while watching the sun set over our beautiful foothill views..  Private bathroom, appointed with toiletries and towels. Free Wi-Fi. Plenty of parking your vehicle at your accommodation.

    All 3 of our private suites come fully equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and kitchenettes stocked with hot plates, toasters, coffee pots, microwaves, refrigerator, and hot water cooker.   The outdoor space is shared and offers plenty of comfortable seating, barbeques, and a beautiful view of the surrounding foothills. 

  • How far is the property from Yosemite?

    Yosemite Foothill Retreat is just  30-35 minute drive from the south gate to Yosemite.

  • Is parking available at the properties?

    Yes, we have plenty of free private parking spaces available for guests.

  • What is the check-in and check-out time?

    Check-in is from 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. If you need flexible times, feel free to contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

  • Is the property family-friendly?

    Yes, our property offers plenty of outdoor space that is perfect for families with children. High chairs and cribs are available upon request.

  • Are pets welcome?

    Unfortunately, since our patio is shared with other guests, we do not allow pets.
